Meika is an Assurance Manager with Good Redden Klosler. She is responsible for planning and performing financial statement audits and reviews as well as collaborating with the firm’s tax and business advisory experts to meet the big picture needs of the firm’s clients. Meika specializes in accounting standards research, standards transitions and internal compliance, training and professional development. Her clients love her energy, enthusiasm and friendly, outgoing personality.
Meika graduated with First Class Honours from the Bachelor of Commerce program at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. After graduation, Meika moved to Halifax with a national firm and completed the UFE in 2011, being awarded a place on the David Hope Honour Roll for outstanding performance in the CA professional program.
In 2013, Meika moved back to Port Dover, her hometown, and joined Good Redden Klosler. Meika is a facilitator for the CPA PEP program through CPA Ontario, a guest lecturer at Queen’s University and was appointed as a Practice Inspector for CPA Ontario in 2016.
When she isn’t at the office, Meika volunteers her time as an active member of the Port Dover Board of Trade, a Director of the Simcoe and District Chamber of Commerce, and Treasurer of the Port Dover Foundation. Meika also operates a small marine, welding and fabrication company in Port Dover with her husband, Pete, and enjoys spending warm summer days with Pete and their Newfoundland Dog, Tiller, cruising the waters of Lake Erie on their tugboat.
